Day 01: Fly to Paro, Drive to Thimpu
From Kathmandu, you will catch a Druk Air flights to Paro. Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will fulfill the procedure of custom and Immigration. Afterwards, you will be greeted by your guide who takes you to the capital- Thimphu. You will stay overnight at a hotel in Thimpu.

Day 02: Thimpu excursion, drive to Cheri Gompa
After breakfast, you will drive to the north end of the valley for about 20 minutes to start an exciting ride to Cheri Gompa (monastery). You will arrive to a village- Dedona after passing through the rice fields and forests. From Dodena, you will cross the bridge and climb the steep hill to reach the Cheri Gompa. Cheri Gompa was built in 1620 by Shabdrung- the first ruler of Bhutan. Later you will descend and drive back to Thimpu.

Day 03: Drive to Paro and explore Paro
This day, after having breakfast, you will drive north of Thimpu for about an hour to make it to Paro. After having lunch, you will move forward to explore around Paro. You will climb up La Chele Pass for Mountain View. After a short walk, you will descend and return to Paro. You will also visit Dzondrakha monastery, Rinpung Dungtse and Lhakhang Dzong.

Day 04: Excursion to Taktshang
Early in the morning, you will drive to Ramthangkha-the termination point of the carriage road and then hike to the tiger's den (Taktshang). You can also take a pony ride to Taktshang at an additional cost of U.S. $ 12 per person. You will also visit Kyichu Lhakhang, and Dzong. You will stay overnight at a hotel.

Day 5: Departure from Paro
This day marks the end of your short tour. You will take your breakfast in hotel and then will be taken to the only Airport in Bhutan which lies in Paro. From Paro, you will either fly back to Kathmandu through Druk Airlines or head for your next destination.
