Siguchuli (Fluted) Peak Climbing

Previously known as Fluted Peak, Shigu Chuli is a difficult Mountain that is located to the centre of Annapurna Sanctuary. It is the third highest peak among peaks of Nepal that is officially opened for climbing. It divides Western Annapurna glaciers with the Southern glaciers. Shigu Chuli Climbing requires technical skills and only few experienced climbers try this Peak while other novice ones choose to venture into the nearby Tharpu Chuli Peak climbing. The southwest ridge of Siguchuli Peak is connected with Tent Peak.
Wilf Noyce and David Cox were the first to conquer this magnificent Peak in the year 1957. They chose the trail that prolonged through northeast face and they were the one to name this peak as ‘Shigu Chuli’. Among several possible routes, climbers have found the trail along the southern ridge to be comparatively easier to ascend. The already difficult trekking is made even worse by the frequently occurring avalanche.
Himalayan Spirit Adventure Trek and Expeditions is regularly organizing ‘Siguchuli Peak Climbing’ as 16-days itinerary package. We are flexible with our itinerary and the package can easily be shortened or lengthened to suit your budget and needs. Our route encompasses popular four base camps namely Machhapuchhre Base Camp, Annapurna Base Campo, Tharpuchuli Base Camp and Singha Chuli Base Camp in just 16 days package. So, contact us soon and join the challenging ‘Siguchuli Peak Climbing’. March to May and September to December are the best months to join Singuchuli peak climbing.
