Pisang Peak that is located in between Annapurna I and Manaslu mountains at an altitude of 6091m is known for allowing one of the best peak climbing experience in Annapurna Region. It is positioned just above the Himalayan Highland Village of Pisang to the north of Manang Valley.
‘Himalayan Spirit Adventure Trek & Expeditions’ is regularly operating Pisang Peak Climbing as 19-days package that begins with a pleasant drive to Besi Sahar. We will pass through beautiful villages of Bahundanda, Chamje and Dharapani that are rich in culture and tradition. We will climb to the summit of Pisang Peak and enjoy the scenic views of Manang Valley and Annapurna Range. Later we will take a trek back through the world’s highest pass- Thorang La to Muktinath and back to Jomsom. We will catch the flight to Pokhara and return back to Kathmandu and thus the enthralling ‘Pisang Peak Climbing’ concludes.
Pisang Peak Climbing chases the enthralling trail that proceeds through green woods. The trek allows us the rare opportunity to spot Himalayan wildlife and diverse species of floras, faunas and birds and varieties of lush green vegetation. The trek proceeds further through fluting ice glacier to the Pisang summit. The best months for Pisang Peak Climbing are from March to July and September to early November. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu:
As soon as you disembark in Tribhuvan International Airport of Kathmandu, you will be received by the representative from Himalayan Spirit Adventure Trek and Expeditions. About half an hour drive through the bustling streets of Kathmandu will convey you to the hotel. A brief explanation of the itinerary package will be followed by the welcome dinner which will be served in your honor.

Day 02: Drive to Beshisahar:
It takes 5-6 hours of drive along the wide road of Prithvi Highway to reach Besi Sahar. The route offers scenic views of mountains and Trishuli and Marshyangdi Rivers. Beshisahar is the district headquarters of Lamjung district. Plenty of hotels and lodges are crowded around the busy town. We will stay at Beshisahar for the night.

Day 03: Trek to Bahundanda:
We will follow the moderate trail which entwines through the bridges, rivers and subtropical woods to arrive at a long ridge. We need to mount this ridge to reach to Bahundanda hill where we will stay overnight.

Day 04: Trek to Chamje:
6hours of walk through the heavenly terrains will take us through inclined cliffs, dense woods and scattered settlements to the bridge over Marshayngdi River. Crossing the river which is popular for sharp bends and turbulence appropriate for rafting, we will move through Jagat to Chamje.

Day 05: Trek to Dharapani:
The route stretches along the banks of Marshyangdi River to the hill. We will ascend the hill and head through bamboo forest and corn fields to Tal. Leaving Tal behind, we will pass through the village of Kodo and arrive at Dharapani which is the important village of Manang valley.

Day 06: Trek to Chame:
Our trekking for the day begins with a short climb to Tyanja which exists at about 2360m altitude. We will cross the forest that lies near to the river and arrive at Kopar which is at 2590m altitude. We will enjoy the scenic view of Annapurna II and head towards Chame which is the district Headquarter of Manang.

Day 07: Trek to Upper Pisang:
Walking through the forest along the narrow valley, we will cross the river on a long bridge at 3040m. The trail then follows upward to Pisang which exists between 3200m and 3300m. We will enjoy the spectacular views of gripping Manang Valley and Annapurna Range before staying overnight at Upper Pisang .

Day 08: Trek to Pisang Peak Base Camp:
We will begin the trek early in the morning. The trail follows uphill through the woods which will lead us to Kharka. Kharka is a meadow of green lush vegetation where Himalayan Yak and Thar can be spotted. We will prepare our camp in the clear area and stay overnight.

Day 09: Trek to Pisang Peak High Camp:
It is going to be the challenging day. Our destination for today is Pisang Peak High Camp which is located at 5400m altitude. The path is tricky as it is made slippery at various spots by melting down of the snow. The trail that winds up through the South Western ridge is considered best for climbing Pisang Peak.

Day 10: Trek to Peak Summit and back to Base Camp:
Conquering the summit is going to be the most challenging part of our expedition. We will fix the cables wherever we feel it necessary and cut our way through pike axe to reach to the summit. When we reach to the summit, we will enjoy the scenic views of Manang Valley and Annapurna Range before returning back to Base Camp.

Day 11: Return to Manang Valley:
11th day marks the beginning of Return Trek. Leaving the Pisang Mountain behind, we will walk through the dry lands of Manang district. The land gets minimal rainfall as it lies in the rain shadow of Annapurna Range. People of this region are yak herders and raise crops for the part of the year. We will soon arrive at the cross road that stretches to the north and south of the Marsyangdi River. These routes meet again at Mungji.

Day 12: Trek to Thorong Phedi:
Walking through the route that runs nearby Tilicho Lake, we will advance towards Yak Kharka. Another four hours of gentle walk through the rocky path will lead us to Thorong Phedi which is the base of the Thorong La Pass. We will stay overnight at Thorong Phedi.

Day 13: Trek to Muktinath via Thorong La:
It is going to be the challenging day as we will climb Thorong La- the highest pass of the world. We will take the advantage of height to survey the surrounding before heading towards the holy shrine of Muktinath premises.

Day 14: Trek to Kagbeni:
4hours of walk will take us to Kagbeni. The trek begins with 30minutes walk from Muktinath to arrive at Jharkot. We will observe the culture prevailing in Jharkot that is heavily influenced from neighboring Tibetans and then head towards Kagbeni where we will stay overnight.

Day15: Trek to Jomsom:
The trek begins as we walk along the bank of Kali Gandaki River which is famous for the availability of ammonite- Shaligram that is considered the form of Lord Vishnu. We will continue our walk till we reach Jomsom which is the district headquarter of Mustang.

Day16: Flight to Pokhara:
Early morning 30minutes of flight will take us to Pokhara. The flight allows the striking views as we fly through the skyline between Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Ranges. Since we will have free time during day, we will utilize the moment to explore around Pokhara. Boating in Phewa Lake is the fine idea.

Day 17: Back to Kathmandu:
5hours of scenic drive through Prithvi Highway will take us to Kathmandu. The route offers views of Trishuli River, snow- clad mountains and rice fields.

Day 18: Departure:
Our staff will assist in your last moment preparation. You will then be taken back to Tribhuvan International Airport. You will then board a flight which will take you to your next destination. We would like to see you again soon in future. Safe Journey!!!
