Panchase Hill Trek

Panchase Hill Trek is also known as Panchase Hill Trekking and Panchase Hill Hiking. Panchase Hill Trek is 9-days long package that takes you through rhododendron forest, amazing villages, terraces, plains and rivers and lets you have views of gigantic mountains like Machha Puchhre, Dhaulagiri and Annapurna. Panchase Hill is encircled on the east by Kaski, on the west by Parbat and on the south by Syangja district.
Panchase Hill Trek follows comparatively easy hiking route and is thus suitable for all age groups and all fitness levels thus making it ideal trek where all family can enjoy together the experience of trekking. The highest point of this trek exists at 2500m altitude so there is no worry of suffering from High Altitude Sickness unlike most of other trekking routes in Nepal while engaging in this trek.
Panchase Hill Trek begins at south-west sideof Pokhara. While engaging in Panchase Hill Trek, we can experience different topographical structures which varies from subtropical valleys of rice paddies to ridges and green thickets where rhododendron and other wildlife are found in abundance. Panchase Hill has religious significance as well. It holds a temple where thousands of pilgrims visit daily to worship and cleanse off their sin.

Itinerary Outline of Panchase Hill Trek

Day0 1: Kathmandu Arrival
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Day 03: Fly or drive to Pokhara
Day 04: Drive to Khare Khola and trek to Bhumdi
Day 05: Trek to Panchase Bhanjyang
Day 06: Trek to Bhadaure from Panchase Hill
Day 07: Trek to Sarangkot
Day 08: Travel to Pokhara
Day09: Fly or drive back to Kathmandu

Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival:
You will find our representative there in airport, ready to greet you when you land in International Airport of Kathmandu. He will receive you with your name and take you to our hotel where you will be briefly explained about the itinerary package.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu:
On the second day, you will be taken out for an excursion to some of the chief sites in and around Kathmandu. Visits include temples of Pashupatinath, Swayamvunath and Bauddhanath and Durbar squares of Kathmandu and Patan.

Day 03: Fly or drive to Pokhara:
It takes 25minutes of flight through glorious peaks of Manaslu to take us to Pokhara. Alternatively we can take a bus and follow Prithvi Highway for 6-7 hrs to reach Pokhara. We will spend our night in a hotel at Pokhara. If you feel like exploring, we can take a boat ride on Phewa Lake.

Day 04: Drive to Khare Khola and trek to Bhumdi:
Today we will take a short drive for about30 mins along the Tansen/Bhairahawa Highway to Khare Khola. From there, we will climb up the hill for about an hour to reach village of Kabalang. Further up lies village of Bhumi Danda. A bit far from Bhumdi Danda exists Bhumdi(1650m) where we will camp overnight.

Day 05: Trek to Panchase Bhanjyang:
Early in the morning we will climb uphill and pass through thickets to reach Panchase Bhanjyang which is a wonderful settlement located at the foot of Panchase Hill. Panchase Bhanjyang is famous for bird watchinhg and its views of Pokhara Valley and Phewa Lake . We will stay overnight in Panchase Bhanjyang.

Day 06: Trek to Bhadaure from Panchase Hill:
We will ascend through stone steps all the way to Panchase Hill. Located at 2500m altitude, Panchase Hill is the highest spot of Panchase Hill Trek which is an ideal place to view sunrise. Later we will lower down to Alldanda before making it to Bhadaure.

Day 07: Trek to Sarangkot:
Sarangkot is located at 1550m altitude. It takes 5 hours of walk through forest and terraces to reach Sarangkot from Bhadaure. Sarangkot is famous for Sunrise and Mountain View. We can even have a wonderful view of Pokhara Valley from here.

Day 08: Travel to Pokhara:
Pokhara is 7.5km far from Sarangkot and it takes about half an hour drive to take you to Pokhara. We will stay overnight in a hotel.

Day 09: Fly or drive back to Kathmandu:
It takes 25minutes of flight through glorious peaks of Manaslu to take us to Kathmandu. Alternatively we can take a bus and follow Prithvi Highway for 6-7 hrs to reach Kathmandu. We will spend our night in our hotel at Kathmandu.
