Day 01: Arrive at Paro, drive to Thimphu
From Kathmandu, you will catch a Druk Air flight to Paro. Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will fulfill the procedures of custom and immigration. Afterwards, you will be greeted by your guide who takes you to the capital- Thimphu. You will stay overnight at hotel in Thimpu.

Day 02: Sightseeing tour around Thimpu
In the afternoon, you will move out for a short tour around the city of Thimpu during which you will visit the Memorial Chorten, The National Library, The Painting School and The Handicrafts Emporium. Later you will head for Tashicho Dzong and return back to the hotel.

Day 03: Travel to Trongsa
The journey to central Bhutan takes around 7-8 hours to complete. You will pass through the Alps and coniferous forests in three districts. You will have lunch at Chendebji, an ancient Newari Stupa like those found in Nepal. Beyond Chendebji lies Trongsa where you will stay in a hotel.

Day 04: Bumthang to Trongsa Dzong and back to Bumthang
The journey for this day continues by visiting Trongsa Dzong. Later you will travel through the magnificent landscape of pine forests and open fields to finally arrive at Bumthang where you will stay overnight.

Day 05: Explore Bumthang
This day will be taken as a rest day as well as a day for exploration around Bumthang. You will rest for a while and then explore around Bumthang. You will visit to Jambey Lhakhang and Tamshing Monastery. After having lunch, you will visit Mebertsho (Burning Lake) before returning back to the hotel.

Day 06: Travel to Gangtey
After breakfast, you will follow the trail for nearly 4hrs to reach Phobjikha Valley which is a glacial valley famous for its wet lands. In Phobjika lies Gangtey Village. Gangtey Village is named after the Gangtey Monastery it holds. We will stay overnight in Gangtey.

Day 07: Travel to Punakha
This day you will drive to Punakha where you will visit Punakha Dzong, a massive structure built at the confluence of two rivers. You will stay overnight in Punakha.

Day 08: Travel to Paro
This day, after having lunch, you will pass through pine forest to reach traditional farmhouses. Later you will reach to the destination for the day- Paro. Paro is a small and beautiful city of Bhutan and is the second largest city after Thimpu, the capital city.

Day 09: Explore around Paro
Today you will begin the exploration inside Paro by visiting ruins of Drukgyel Dzong from where you can have view of Chomolhari Mountain. You will pass through 7th century Kyichu Lakhang which celebrates the arrival of Buddhism in Bhutan. You will also stop by the National Museum before returning back to hotel in Paro.

Day 10: Departure from Paro
This day marks the end of your short tour to Bhutan. You will take your breakfast at the hotel and then will be taken to the only Airport in Bhutan which lies in Paro. From Paro, you will either fly back to Kathmandu through Druk Airlines or head for your next destination.
