Kala Patthar Everest Trek takes you to the Base Camp of the Everest also called as Kala Patthar from where you can have some of the stunning views of the Everest, world’s tallest mountain peak. Kala Patthar appears as a big brown bump below the impressive south face of Everest including the crossing of Cho La, hiking and trekking to Gokyo Ri. The trail is continuously rewarded with dramatic Himalayan views and there are many options for further exploration and progress to high altitude as high 5420m. The black rock in Nepal is a better point to view the Himalayas. Similarly, Mount Lhotse and Tengboche Monastery with Ama Dablam (6856m) as a magnificent backdrop are the other highlights of Kala Patthar Everest Trek. While at the summit of Kala Patthar, you can have 360 degrees panorama of mountain peaks such as Ama Dablam, Kala Patthar Peak, Mount Everest, Nuptse, and others.

You can spend your 18 days in this trek experiencing the most adventurous and pleasant time. As you are spending 18 days, you should know about the best seasons to trek and they are February, March, April, May, June, September, October, November. However, July and August are supposed to be best season for hiking but it is not for sure that you can see the vivid panoramic views due to rain. The trek grade is moderate and you can go for tea house as an accommodation. The minimum altitude is 2840m and its maximum altitude is 5545m. If you are planning to trek in a group then you cannot go more than 115 in a group. From Syangboche, you are offered with abundant flora, fauna while the scenic flight to Lukla from Kathmandu is also a wonderful experience. In addition, you can enjoy incredible views of different Mountains like Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Mount Everest, Nuptse, Gorak Shep sand plain, the top range of Kala Patthar (5545 m). Except those mountains you are free to experience Sherpa culture in Khumjung village, latest Sherpa villages and Buddhist monasteries.
