Balthali Village Trek is a popular destination for village trek and tour around Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. Balthali, a village lying about 40kms from Kathmandu, is a popular village mostly acclaimed for its great body of green forest where various floras including rhododendron, magnolia trees and colorful salt exist. Several species of birds dwell in the green forests of Balthali which makes it a happening place for bird viewing too. Balthali boasts of diverse species of wildlife and also the astounding traditions and cultures. Balthali Village Trek offers a panoramic view of Mount Manaslu while sunrise viewing is another activity that is popular in Balthali. The temples of Namobuddha, Mahadev, Indreswor and Bramayani, located around the region of Balthali, are some of the prized assets of the region and the Balthali Village Trek. Day 01: Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu
Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our team members will receive you at the Airport. You will then be transferred to the hotel where you will be given brief outline information regarding the itinerary by our travel representatives. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
The second day of the itinerary, you will be sightseeing around the Kathmandu Valley visiting the monuments, temples, UNESCO enlisted world heritage sites including the famous Durbar Squares and other places. Temples like Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath and others are of major significance with centuries old culture and tradition behind them. After sightseeing, in the evening you will drive to Dhulikhel, a wonderful town nearby Kathmandu. Overnight stay at a lodge in Dhulikhel.

Day 03: Drive to Namo Buddha (1982m) and then to Balthali (2400m)
After having tea and breakfast in the morning at Dhulikhel, your next destination will be Namobuddha. Legends mention that Namobuddha was the place where Buddha saved a starving tiger from the mouth of death by feeding her with his own meat. We will finally head for Balthali which lies at an altitude of 2400m and call the day off when we rest overnight at Balthali Village Resort.

Day 04: Explore around Balthali
Day fourth will be the most important and fascinating day of the village trek as we will traverse around Balthali Village and towards Danda Gaon- a typical Village of Buddhist community. Pada Gaon, which reclines in 2100m altitude, is yet another must-see place renowned for the views of majestic mountains and dense forests. We will hike around the village visiting the important places while talking with the local villagers. The day ends when you return to the resort.

Day 05: Return from Balthali to Panauti and to Kathmandu
After exploring Balthali, we begin our next day after having breakfast in the morning. We will then tread down trail and hike downhill until the Newari village before arriving at Panauti. Panauti boasts of numerous temples with their own religious significance. Panauti is a small and beautiful place in Kavre, from where we will drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 06: Shopping in Kathmandu
The sixth day of the itinerary will be free as you will already have done with the visit to Balthali Village. You will shop around the Kathmandu Valley on this day, buying souvenirs to your loved ones back home. Also, you can visit around Thamel in the evening and experience the beauty of the place also commonly referred to as the Tourist hub in Kathmandu. Overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 07: Departure from Kathmandu, Farewell!
On the last day of the travel package, you will board a flight back to your home country from Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.
